RFID Card Door Lock System

I installed this system at work which allows up to 100 RFID cards to gain access to the interior of our work space. It has been working for over a year, I must have done something right.

These are the RFID readers I used. http://www.parallax.com/product/32390

Dupont connectors are very hard to do by hand.

I drilled a hole in the lid. Used a small piece of tape on the front to cover the hole. Placed the lid face down. Filled in the hole with hot glue and placed the rfid reader led face down on the glue. This worked perfect for status lights.

I still need to mount this on a panel but for now it works.

I run three cat5e cables to the two readers, and one to the two door latches.

I think this code works, but I can’t seem to find the newest version.
